Great subject. Great bokeh. An interesting transition at about "10:00 o'clock," where the colors suddenly change and the detail drops off. What lens were you using, if I may ask?

From memory, I think that these branches were slightly deeper into the tree and more shaded than the righthand side which was more open to the light.

You may indeed, this will be my “Femme Fatale” (Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 Macro) strutting her stuff.

That would have been my guess. I have the FA-50mm f:2.8 macro and it too provides some very similar bokeh. It's a wonderful landscape lens, too!

Aye it's very sharp, but my other "Ladies" start kicking off in the Pelican if they don't get a turn...

"........... start kicking off in the Pelican." That must be a local saying, much like "Colder than a well-digger's butt," eh?

Hmmm..... looks very familiar. I have the Pelican 1550. An almost indestructible case! It will hold all the lenses I've decided to keep.... including CP filters, etc.... with four of my bodies carried in a smaller Pelican case. They pretty much fill the trunk of my car when my monopod and tripod is included! When out on a photo-safari, it's awesome to pop open the trunk and have all this wonderful Pentax gear on hand and ready to perform their magic. Then, the pressure's on for ME to do them justice!

Note: I REALLY like your compartment in the lid! I have dedicated two of the compartments in my case for such goodies.

I went for the 1510 sizes, being the largest your likely to get away with, as carry on luggage with most airlines.
