I took some time off over the holiday and the weather never really turned out like i wanted. Clouds were always just flat and grey. Went for a few outings anyway. I've driven by this old cotton gin many times, decided to stop for a few shots. Decided on the color version over the B&W.

The day I went back to work we had a nice sunny billowy cloudy day.

Lovely image. Such a great example of entropy.

Thanks Jeff! Yeah, slowly coming down. Surprisingly the building still has electric service. It is private owned with no trespassing signs here and there. I was relegated to taking all the shots from the road. There is an old windmill in the back which i couldn't get good visibility to. The owner appeared to be a collector of anything an everything.

I really like the first shot. Your composition is spot-on. This would also look good if shot late in the evening, with some serious shadows and in B&W.

Yeah I plan to go by again as it isn't far away at all. I'll try the evening setting as suggested.
