Bee vs Spider

Trying out my new Metz 48 AF-1 flash - it's a massive improvement on the AF360FGZ for me.

Taken with the K20D, ISO200 (+DR), Sigma 180mm Macro, flash fitted with a LumiQuest Mini Softbox diffuser.

I hope you enjoy them - my heart was pounding hoping that I'd caught all that I saw. The spiders body is about 2cm across:

Regarding the Metz 48 AF-1, a couple of more positive things:
  • It has a screw thread fastener instead of the Pentax affair that broke on my 360
  • The battery compartment door is much better designed
