I spied this old barn while on a motorcycle trip to the Wallowa Valley, in Oregon. I made the trip to visit the gravesite of Old Chief Joseph, (Tuekakas). A gorgeous valley that once was the homelands of the Nez Perce Indians before they were removed by force by US Army forces.

I like this a lot - the contrast between the bright red and weathered texture is a form of irony. Very cool photo.

Thanks a lot for the kind words. This was taken with a little Olympus P&S camera. It was much easier to carry on my motorcycle and still provided good sharpness.
