This is my first attempt at long exposure taken at Black Diamond Mine in Antioch California. Taken with a Pentax K-5 and Sigma 17-70 - 2.8-4.5 lens @ 30 sec and f/11. All constructive criticism and suggestions welcome!

I really like the look of this photo - the composition is satisfying and the "look" of the detail and color is almost surreal. Very cool, indeed.

Love the look and the pickup in the middle really makes the photograph.

It is very cool to look at. There is no way I could critique something I wish I could do.

A wonderful image! There's a certain mystery to it that makes me want to explore the scene. Very good eye and perfect composition. The more I look at it, the more I see. I especially like the lone oak on top of the hill, and of course, the old truck.

Nice, indeedy! I was, however, searching for Spock.

Your treatment of this scene really works, this would be a mess if shot/processed literally... love the mystery and jewel like colors...sentimental...poignant...nostalgic...great handling of tonal values, this one really communicates!

Thanks Dewman, my daughter has the same eye as you... she also wondered what was on the other side of the hill by that tree!
