Shot at 70mm, PP in DXO then used the DXO film pack to add the Afga Ultra Color 100 effect to it. I then cropped it a bit more for forum use. 11 Jan at dusk. about 4:00 PM that is. +

I prefer the SOOC version. The PPed version has added lots of unpleasant noise.

Thanks for looking. I really did almost no PP on the top image except cropping until I used the new DXO Film Pack 5 which they were giving away for free last month. I kind of like the film grain effect and saturation changes but As a complete amateur with a camera, I am always happy to hear conflicting opinions.
Ray, Would you have done a similar crop? Less, maybe more? I crop so when it gets downsized I lose a little less and when there is extraneous stuff in the image. I now wish I had put this in the critique post, but it was pretty at sunset and I was there with a new lens so here it is.
Have a good one!

I don't think the original needed cropping. The white house is on a third and looks good there. The only other thing needed is a slight levelling of the horizon. Apart from that, it is good to go IMHO.

A very nice image, Geezer. The reworked image certainly had more detail in the house and the trees.

I liked the cropped PP'd version specifically because of the added texture!
