Serene sunset at Talisker Bay, Isle of Skye
Lens: Voigtlander 15mm Camera: Leica SL ISO: 50 Shutter Speed: 2s Aperture: F11

A serene sunset at Talisker Bay, taken on during one of the Workshops I led on the Isle of Skye in Scotland last spring. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters.

A fine shot, your trip to Skye seems to have been blessed with fine weather, the last time I was there it rained and I remember there was a handy parking space on the side of a road where some people had parked their caravan before the rain started but it was now under a waterfall which discharged over the caravan door, they were inside and looked kind of miserable.

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it! Yes, weather on Skye can be hard and your story proves it - good thing is, it generally doesn't stay bad for very long (or good, for that matter!)

The little ripples, textures and objects in the foreground really work well in this photo.
