I read the reviews for it and when I saw one on fleabay I bid and won it. I also have the f1.4 version and was supposed to be selling one of them, but I'm waiting until I've tried them on a K1 whenever that will be. I like both of these lenses for different reasons...I find the 1.7 very sharp/lighter to carry with less CA issues than the 1.4...but I really like the bokeh on the 1.4 wide open...decisions, decisions.

Gotta get yourself a "Special Lady” (Pentax-A 50mm F1.2), then you'll sell all the others "tout suite"...

It's a beautiful image. Would take too long to mention everything I like about it.

For me this photo evokes a moment of transition and arrival . The power of photography created in 1/800 of a second!

Excellent find. Not an obvious subject like flower or mountain.
