Tell me more about White Pocket...were you on a tour, hike in by yourself etc worth the effort? In that area in Oct, so hungry for any info I can get.

An amazing location and a superb image. I love the depth of colours (polariser used?) and the framing with foreground is excellent . The reflection is pretty good too!

Northern Arizona is a very beautiful aria, a paradise for photographers
South and North Coyote Buttes, White Pocket contains some of the most astonishing geology you will ever find anywhere on earth.
Most of the formations are layered sandstone, made from different generations of sand dunes deposited hundreds of millions of years ago during the Jurassic period.
For example, a few more pictures of these absolutely beautiful places.
