First try at Black & White FILM (10pics)
Posted By: Morbo, 08-30-2008, 11:17 PM

Well, the results from my first try and black & white film are in. took the rolls to ritz, and they develop them straight to CD. I did very very little post at all on all of these, so they are pretty much as is (few levels adjustments, few fixing horizons, etc).
I have another disc coming soon(ish).
critiques welcome of course. It was fun doing this.
(all of these are from the camping trip in williamsburg/camping too)
(sorry, it wasn't a Pentax film camera, it was my mother's old Fujica she gave me - but I wanted to post them anyway!)

a few others are up on my flickr

A nice series - particularly the ship shot. I like all of them. Nothing wrong with the camera or operator it seems.

Nice shots - good choice for compositions. What film is this? The scans have a slight purplish tone to them.

Thanks for sharing.

Good shots Dan, for me the first is my favourite, just so simple and effective.
