Jokulsarlon's glacial lagoon, Iceland

The glacial lagoon at Jokulsarlon, Iceland, taken during the first Workshop I led in Iceland, last December. Leica M10, Voigtlander 15mm v. III and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

So you got to Iceland Vieri...did it live up to expectations for you...if this stunning image is anything to go by, it must have.

Superb, a gorgeous photo! To have got the light right and with such great foreground is a fantastic achievement.

I've never been to the Vatnajökull area, and your beautiful image of Jökulsárlón certainly strengthen my desire to go there. Well done.

What I really like is the contrast of the blue ice with the fire in the sky. Beautiful photograph.

Thank you very much for your comment! Yes, Iceland is FANTASTIC, I am going back in February to do some more personal work and fine tune logistics, and next year I'll start leading Workshops there as well - such incredible landscapes!

Thank you very much indeed, glad you liked it! It is very tricky to find a shutter long enough to give some sense of movement to the clouds and smoothen the water, while keeping the bergs still...
