Snowy and the Moon
Lens: HDTC 1.4x _ DA*300 f4 Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Quebec, Canada ISO: 1250 Shutter Speed: 1/800s Aperture: F13.5

I was lucky enough to cross this Snowy Owl today... It flew from a top of a barn to the top of a tree, where the moon filled the background.
I have to tell it's my lady that provided me the idea to position myself in order to cath them both in the frame... Thanks to my beloved! :-)

Handheld with Pentax K-3II + HD Rear Converter 1.4x + DA*300f4 (420mm) ... Another good example of the quality of the Pentax HD TC 1.4x...
1/800s, ƒ/13, ISO 1250

Awesome photo.
It is as if I could just reach out and touch the owl.
Very sharp.

Sharp...sharp....sharp and well exposed...sometimes not easy to get a good exposure with these Snowies , bright sky and all that snow on the ground...being so white. Great idea about positioning the Snowy White Owl by the faded moon. A wall hanger.

That is really great Weevil. Is it a crop of the image or the whole capture? How close were you to get that shot? on a Tripod?
I am jealous, you can see why in my gallery.
