I know Rupert enjoyed this series. After I posted it he accused me of being a pro. It's the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread.

This is the best peanut ever.

Hey I saw that nut first.

No you didn't.

Yes I did.

I didn't want that stinking nut anyway.

This is what happens when you habitually shoot in burst mode. You see things in the pictures you didn't see when looking through the camera. At 8 FPS this is a half second burst. A blink of an eye.

It definitely works much better than "Take one exposure and pray." But "Click and pray." doesn't have the same ring to it.

Ah, Norm, this is a terrific series. The fierce battles feisty reds engage in always look as if they'll result in a mortal wound, but then they break apart and all is all right once more.

Hey Norm, good to be back participating, though I've been looking in from time to time. I spent a few months building a website, modifying another, and writing a book while recovering from an injury from cycling, so not a lot of time for photography. Winter in the 'Dacks is good for that kind of thing. Do you still have winter over there in Algonquin? Hello to Tess and the dawgs.

My daughter-in-law is visiting right now while their house sells, so when we go out there are my 4 and her 3 for 7 dogs. Life is not as peaceful as it once was.

I gave Tess the camera for this shot.... it adequately describes the madness.

I'm doing 10,000 steps a day, every day on my fitbit, but it's still pretty sore after. It doesn't stop me from doing anything, but it makes a lot of what I do more painful. Thanks for asking, how's yours?

And you have no idea how hard it was to get all those dogs in the image. They just don't know how to follow orders these guys.

I'm averaging 6-7000 steps a day with no or very little pain and can do whatever I did before. I'm off all painkillers and feel pretty good again. Even my knees are behaving better. In other words, for being 85 I have no complaints whatsoever.

Take care,

Ya, I know, it seems inadequate, where can I find a few more? We just got word Rick sold the house. They'll all be leaving soon. Well the three that aren't mine will anyway.

These were originally posted in the "Got Squirrels Shots" thread a year or so ago, Rupert did get some enjoyment out of them.
