This beautiful spider was found in our backyard on wonderful sunny day. I had not seen it before, even though I have lived on our farm for over 25 years.

We used to call those Christmas Spiders as they would appear from late November tp late February and came in a variety of colours. I haven't seen any for a long time now so that was a good catch.
