Backyard Wild Animals Contest Happy Squirrel

I spotted this squirrel bounding across my driveway, looking all happy one sunny November day. He hopped up on the tire of my pickup truck, hopped down and stopped mid step, looking like he had an idea. He darted this way and that and finally settled in a spot under the pine tree, looked around and dug and dug, popping up every now and then. Finally, he popped up with a pecan in his mitts, looking all happy again.

RIP Rupert.
