... my first attempt at true macro and some shots that really surpassed my expectations. Talk about a razor-thin DOF though







Aussie 5c coin, lots of vignetting here but I like the effect.

That last pic is quite interesting! The vignetting echo is shape of the coin.

All three floral shots are nice, but the second one is pure magic! Soft yet detailed, pastel colors - very dreamy and beautiful!

Well I really like No-2; you may want to continue to experiment because you can produce some really nice poetic images with shallow depth of field.

I agree with the rest.. #2 is awesome. I have tried this type a shot a fews times but due to lighting, was a little underexposed... This one is spot on and makes me want to go out a try again. Thanks for sharing. JIMBO
