Oh deer

We don't have many squirrels around town. I think the eagles, hawks, foxes, and coyotes keep them in check. Instead we get deer in our yards.
The eat vegetable gardens, flowers, and even jack-o-lanterns in the fall. During hunting season the town population really grows as they seem to know town provides relative safety.

They also leave their young in yards while mom goes out to graze in the spring. This cute little one was in a friends yard right downtown on main street.
