Now today, it arrived with my Fitbit Charge 2. After the dog walk I was only at 6,000, so I took out the also just unboxed new lens and went out for a couple thousand more steps. I like the lens. The lack of AF is barely noticeable to anyone who understands hyperlocal distances. You set the lens to your hyperlocal distance, the lens beeps, All set.

I've been whining about no UWA lenses for the K-1 that didn't cost $2000 CAD. You can only whine for so long before you go ahead and do something.

You've all seen our cabin before, there's the Rokinon 14mm version.













The IQ looks good, sharp edge to edge, as much as can be expected on a lens this wide. 550 grams, so manageable for weight in a nice small package.

I was happy except for the part where I got nailed $50 CAD for shipping, and then $60 CAD for customs adding $110 to the price. Never again.

Me too, I can hardly wait to get out someplace with good light and scenery more than 100 meters fro the end of my driveway.

You just have to get over the "it's not a Pentax " thing. The downside is there is no lens name and the focal length is listed at 15mm, because my K-1 didn't give me the option for 14, but I have no other 15mm "A" lenses, so it shouldn't be an issue.
