Two Love Birds
Lens: Sigma 70-300 mm Camera: Pentax K-x Photo Location: Fenton, MO ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F8
Posted By: mike22, 02-11-2018, 03:53 PM

On a cold January afternoon with the sun brightly shining after a deep snow the night before I sat at our kitchen window enjoying the Eastern Bluebirds at the feeder outside our window. A male and a female perched on top of the wrought iron hook the feeder hung from. As I watched the two of them for what seemed like a long time the female kept trying to get the males attention and all he would do is look the other way. Eventually he look into her eyes and for a moment they were two love birds. At that moment I captured this photo.

Many of my most interesting photos come from nature that visits us in our own backyard
