What a fun shot. And great composition too. Looks like it could be one of those "OK. Who remembers where we parked" moments.

For us here in the states, seeing animals like this roaming around on a daily basis is hard to imagine. Do they pose much of a problem?

Only when they get in front of your car when you are moving at speed! Hitting a daddy roo can write your car off. Strictly speaking they are vermin as they ruin crops and fences.

Saying that they taste good.

Hi, this just got interesting. Our beloved kanga's can indeed cause some problems and I have to agree with Liney but they are not vermin to the entire country they are opportunistic and will feed when and where they can much to the farmers dislike. being endemic they really don't understand fences. This shot was taken in a national park where they hang out in carparks looking for scraps and don't really cause any problems. These guys were eastern greys they have many cousins. I consider these chance encounters a privilege but also agree they are tasty.

Exotic to us - but translate "roo" to "deer", and suddenly we understand completely.

And thank you for text worthy of Rupert.
