All I see is the anti-pigeon defences...nicely framed though.

That's not The Caledonian in Edinburgh is it, Kerrowdown? It's a few years since I was last there... but it doesn't look the same in my memory...

No it was originally the Caledonian Bank in Inverness from 1838 until 1907.

The Gaelic motto used on its own banknotes was... Tir nam Beann, nan Gleann, s'an Gaisgeach, which translates as Land of Mountains, Glens and Heroes, now just how cool was that.

But now it's a Bar/Pub, as a listed building it retains many of the original features, especially the grand front elevation.

Many US cities have courted falcon pairs, and once they've settled in, we have both a pigeon defense and a source of entertainment via a nestcam. I guess I need to find out where the falcons in town live, and determine whether I can see anything from the ground.
