Hi folks,

The same snowy was sitting on a fence post almost like she was guarding the field from the snowy who hangs out on the field beside her (they've fought before).

Or maybe she was looking for food.

Or both.

Stittsville is in Southeastern Ontario (Canada) not far from the Nation's capital, Ottawa.

There were a number of local to me (Toronto) news media reports last week about a higher than average influx of Snowy Owls in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) this winter. There have been quite a few Snowy Owl images shot locally posted on various sites over the last few weeks.
