Geeezzzz, what a beautiful shot. Wonderful capture and most impressive results with a Vivitar Lens. Thanks so much for sharing.

Lovely capture...pity there wasn't a ladybird on the flower...then you would have had the three primary colours represented.

Thank you for the comments everyone

I do have a fondness for older lenses ie, vivitar, soligor, takumar, to name a few

Granted I do use some newer Canon lenses as well
But the romance and the Quality of the older lesser regarded Brands keeps me excited about the Art of Photography

Beautiful shot, MJSteele! I too am a big fan of the older Vivitar lenses. Sadly, they are often overlooked in favor of the newer, "fancy" lenses. I especially like the Kobori-made Vivitar lenses.

If you like the older Vivitar lenses, you might want to take a look at the ones I'm going to list on the Market Place. My failing eyesight won't let me use manual focus lenses very well.

Whew! I finally got them all photographed and listed on The Market Place, if you'd care to take a look.

Thanks,
Dewman
