Moonrise, Sunset.
Lens: Tamron 28-200mm Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Idaho ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/4000s Aperture: F4.5

This image obviously is not, as the title suggests, a moonrise and sunset. It's the setting sun reflecting off of a traffic sign with an approaching car's headlights serving as the "moonrise." It was one of those "spur-of-the-moment" shots that turned out better than I had anticipated.... if you have a good imagination!

Very cleverly composed Dewman...that single strand...sharp over the sun putting the emphasis where desired...lovely image.

What an imaginative photo. The familiar look of the plant against an otherworldly background. Perfect.

Don't care how it was achieved, that's a cracking image.

Making this image is the happy coincidence of the moment with the eye of experience able to make such a decision . Thanks sharing.

Thanks, photomax7. The slight "fogginess" was due to a nice, warm lens just taken out in the sub-freezing temps and taking the shot before it had a chance to acclimate.
