Lady of the Lake (4 images)
Posted By: hamidlmt, 09-03-2008, 12:10 AM

OK... I give... it was really a river. These were snapped with the K20D and the DA* 50-135mm 2.8. I also brought along a wirelessly triggered AF-540 flash fired through a shoot-thru umbrella. For a few shots, both the light stand and I were in the river too!

F/4, 1/160 sec, iso 100, 95mm

F/3.5, 1/160 sec, iso 100, 115mm

F/4/5, 1/160 sec, iso 100, 80mm

F/5, 1/160 sec, iso 100, 50mm

I love these shots very crisp. The title really fits those photo's. All that is missing is her showing King Arthur where Excalibur is! Excellent series.
I really should have a prop sword in the trunk of the car for these kinds of situations LOL!

Hamid,
I've seen shots of yours of this particular model before. *wipes drool off chin*

First shot is my favorite.

yeah, that's what's most striking about her shots, she seems so comfortable. Of course there's credit that goes to you too for making a comfortable atmosphere. Anyway, thanks for sharing as always.

I've had the pleasure of shooting her several times. She doesn't have much modeling experience, but is a real natural, always trying new things. We get along well and connect and I think that makes a big difference.
