Looks like Flora is looking out to sea..to locate her pet seagull. Someone needs to tell her that it's perched on her head.

BTW, I do that all the time when I've misplaced my sunglasses.

More like avian vermin. Rats with wings, in my opinion. I really like your colour treatment for this picture, even more than the one you produced from your first visit, it adds depth and drama. If you had shot the gull with something other than a camera, it would have scored a bulls-eye in my books.

She's actually looking the wrong way for the sea... "it's behind you" or in this case her, as they say at the Pantos.

Split toned with bit of extra gold in the highlights and blue in the shadows, thanks for you kind words.
