Yes they are indeed quite quick...this one was actually trying to cross the road!
I hope "she" makes it ... not a great place to be running around.

I have seen a number of Fishers and a few ermine in full winter regalia here but not this year and not when I have a camera in hand. I know we have lots since years ago when my son tried to raise chickens, the fishers got them all.

I remember having seen a fisher once, and only once in my lifetime, and this thing looked mean!
Of course, I did not have a camera handy at the time.
