Shadow Macro...
Posted By: Igilligan, 09-03-2008, 11:46 AM

Waiting in the shadows....

Dont see many macro silhouettes... I took this yesterday and kind of liked the mood if you can call a 'fly macro' moody. Sort of speaks to my own mood of late...

I know this will not ring too many bells so I understand if you just pass on by without comment... but I think the K100 and viv did a decent job deep in the shadows. Thanks for looking.

Well, you have such an interesting title, that I just had to see, what's going with it! I also like the idea, the photo is surely something we don't see often! Nice indeed!

I like it. He is kind of like the "Dark Knight" of flies. Better be careful around that one.

I love it, it's a creative way to do a macro shot of a sneaky bug.

It's great! Still sharp enough to see the little hairs on his legs.

I dig it. It's got a bit of the comic book air to it with the fly some dark avenger lurking the shadows. Whether he's a sentinel on watch for evil doers or a mad man stalking prey remains to be seen...

Wow... I did not think I would get many responses.

Thank you all for the comments. I really liked it, but did not think it would have much appeal.

He does seem all sinister up there waiting in the shadows... Definately up to no good...

I have taken way too many fly macros in my day... but this one was very different from the others. The old K100 and 105 vivi really did well...

Thank you all again

Gus,

This image is something out of the norm, instead of posting all that has been captured already. That is creativity. Nice work.
