The Painted Desert what a wonderful name - I remember reading about that in Zane Grey's stories long, long ago.

Mr. Zane Grey, quite a prolific author. I understand he made a death bed confession that of all the novels he wrote about the old American West, he never once was even on a horse in his whole life. It would be really cool to have a collection of his work. Very nice photograph, nice composition and well exposed.

Thank you. I don't often do B&W, but this image was obviously meant for it.
