I remember I was attracted how the low sun illuminated the colourful balloons. While framing the shot I noticed among the throng of motorbikes coming at me these two riders evidently having a good time for what ever reason. It was clearly visible even from a distance. Instinctively I fired off a number of shots as they passed the balloon vendor not thinking it would ever come out well.

This is the result. When I look at this picture now, to me it appears as if the bike is leaping right out of the picture and lands on my desk.

Cheers

Vibrant colours and big smiles, even small ones, go together well. Don't they.

(Like coffee and chocolate )

Thanks, and cheers

At the first glance, I thought it was in China

An easy mistake to make without distinctive reference points. This was taken in Hanoi.
Thanks for the positive appraisal.

Action shot alright, I nearly got run over. Maybe that's what they are laughing at.
Many thanks for your reply.

Instinctive is good. Often you don't have time to think before the picture is gone.

Pre-setting the cam with the best possible setting from time to time to match the condition you are in helps. Always settle for a slight underexposure.

Thanks guys
