Beautiful shots Gawan, that first one really draws you into it. Great stuff!

That first one looks like the remnants of a dragon's demise with the forest in the last stages of covering it. I like #1 and #2. I agree it looks like Bilbo's house.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I thought that some one else than me also should see the magic I felt when walking in that scene in that particular moment, so happy I managed to catch it!

Beautiful shots, very natural looking. Well done, Georg.
Autumn colours are something we dont see a lot of where I am. Most Aussie trees are evergreen.

Well done, the seasons they certainly are a changin!

At the moment we are esperiencing a cyclone off the cost., unbelievable winds and up to 8 inches of rain in the last 36 hours. Hope to get a couple of shots this morning, ...... maybe???

gawan, those are great colors. I wish we had colors like that where I live. In California everything is brown this time of year - we haven't had any rain for months.

Hello Georg, very nice shots indeed! Also my favorite is the first one. Great colors and something I can't explain, just seeing that photo makes me feel good.

Thanks asfinn59, for the kind words! If you ever visit Seurasaari in Helsinki, you should definitely step off the regular paths and explore the more hidden parts of the island!

Haha, found that in Alexandria Virginia last year on vacation. To be honest though, this place is a fine eating establishment and the food was excellent.

Small world -- I can look out my office window and see this fine eating establishment. My boss and I ate lunch there last week.
