I stare at this shot and am very calm compared to seeing spiders. Why is it that bees hurt more than most spider bites, yet I am deadly fearful of spiders and can care less about bees?

I've photographed literally hundreds of bees and not once have I even been so much as threatened by them. Maybe I was just lucky?
