Boom!
Lens: Pentax DA 55-200mm WR Camera: K-5II Photo Location: Hesperia, CA ISO: 125 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F6.3

Went to a pirate fest in Hesperia, CA. Stayed with a black powder guild. Got to shoot a Pentax AND a cannon. This isn't me but it's my favorite of all the shots I got of the cannons. First time using ANY DSLR at an event. So much fun and I got quite a few awesome shots!

Is there something wrong with this picture I'm not seeing or is this just not that interesting to others?

No, it is a very nice shot! It almost looks like the pirate in the background has a misshapen hook for a hand until you look closer and see it is the hot iron for firing.
