Is it just me, or does this image exhibit a lot of 3-D qualities to it?

Amazing color contrast too, wonder if that is part of the effect.
Very nice.

I'm not sure, Jim. The subject of 3-D has been kicked around here on PF till it's worn out.... but it still fascinates me. I've got several photos in my "3-D Folder" that are really amazing! Some look like you're looking through one of those View Master gizmos we used to have as kids. I'm sure the sharp lines up against a blurry background has a lot to do with it, but I don't think that's all there is to it. It seems like my Pentax-F 35-70mm lens produces the most of them. Here's one shot with a Sigma 70-300mm that really has a lot the 3-D effect.... or at least it looks like it to my old, tired eyes.

3D works for me! Rich colors are also very cool.

You did What, Jim! Oh my goodness.... such a wonderful lens to be used for parts. Maybe I have an exceptional copy, but my 35-70mm lens is one of the sharpest zooms I own. I've seen it referred to as "A stack of primes," and I would have to agree. Ugly? Well, it's definitely NOT the belle of the ball, but just sayin'......

it's 3D to me! That blue just makes the shot vibrate. Very nice.
