Hi Eddie, I was looking at this and looking at this and looking at this trying to figure it out! Then I read the caption. Doh! Nice shot. I've seen winches as big but I don't believe I've seen any that small. Interesting shot and a cunumdrum for any sailor without an explanation.

Nice contrast of color and chrome.

Yeah the highly polished chrome lokks good against the wooden floor. Nice to have time at work to do that sort of thing!

Thanks for the comments. As we sell a lot of stainless steel equipment I find it a real challange to shoot because of the reflections you get. As a side issue, the little winch will pull around 200kg and the big 9000kg.

Cheers

Chrome and wood, very tricky shot to get right but you got it great!

Aside - That little thing can pull 200 pounds (edit meant to say kilos!)? How big is it compared to your camera?

I love this shot Eddie and I love pictures of sailboat hardware - please post more. Is your business marine hardware only or do you sell boats, as well?

Alvin. If I put my DL as to take a portrait photo is will cover the little winch.

Sailor. I am the distributor down here for a few top brands like Andersen winches and Furlex furling system among others. A great little business in a yachting crazy country.

Cheers
