Hi!

Pentax K-1 Mark II: primeras muestras

We've been testing a final production unit of the new K-1 Mark II for several days and we've posted some pics at high resolution taken with the camera

The successor to the K-1 is as good as we were expecting, with an improved performance at high ISOs and the new Pixel Shift mode that lets you shoot handheld super-high resolution photos. We've been testing both features and we hope to post new reviews with more pics in the very next days.

I let you with more shots taken with the Mark II.

I clicked on the above photos and saw only small sized jpeg images on your Flickr page.

I also clicked on the link to your website and also only found smallish jpg images.

These smallish sized jpg images really don't demonstrate any visible improvement over the K1 to my eyes.

If you could post a link to either the RAW files or large jpg files it would help to show others the true capabilities of this new camera. Even better would be head-to-head comparisions between the K1 and the K1ii.

Look forward to seeing more images taken with your K1ii.

Great photos..sharp, clear..I like all of the photos, but that photograph of the musician is exceptional ! 3D if I've seen 3D!

BTW, what lens, F stop, etc. did you use for the shot of the musician ?

The info is probably there somewhere in the thread, but unfortunately I'm not computer literate enough to find it.

Again, exceptional photography.

Nice photos, love that first one. Too bad image size is limited to 1 MB on here, I'll be the detail at higher resolution is amazing.

Thank you, without filter Off, the jacket was very bright but it did not come out moare

Great! Thanks for your response. I will probably bracket AA Filter Simulation settings with scenes that include clothing until I get some personal experience with the K-1 Mark II handling of moire pattern.
