Riding the Fence Line

Jordan Valley is a little wide spot in the road on Hwy. 95 out in the desert of SE Oregon and it's one of my favorite places to visit. It's one of those spots that always seems to provide some interesting scenes.

Thanks for the nice comments. I think the sky in the image would have benefitted with the use of a polarizing filter, but alas, I didn't have one with me. It won't happen NEXT time!

Nice! I'm also a big fan of Eastern Oregon, a good place to get away from it all.

You bet, Jerry! Vale and John Day are two other spots in Oregon that are on my "favorites" list. So is the Wallowa Valley.

Thank you, Sue. The area is just about as vast and empty as the photo would lead you to believe. Mostly cattle ranches.... and lots and lots of sage brush!
