Lens: pentax 150-450 Camera: K 3 ii Photo Location: East Coast Canada ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F6.3

Still playing with the 150 - 450mm lens tried Aperture at 6.3 seems to work better and used the K 3 !! today to get some extra reach

Lovely image Outlander...do you focus in auto or manual mode...shooting through branches can be a frustrating nightmare.

thank you Photomax7 yes I use the Auto focus to find my subject then ill try and fine tune manually , the lens is relatively new so have been trying full manual as well , when I ordered this lens it took forever to come in so I missed last Springs wildlife season so looking forward to the Migration and all the spring arrivals .

The Eagles are riding the thermals here now but we will have to see if they keep coming around when the cold weather arrives again later this week. This is a good one of your nesting bird. I think your new lens is going to work out pretty well for you.

Nice catch! I like that lens, even though it's a real beast to lug around.
