Here are a few shots from a recent visit to Tofino. These were taken at Chesterman Beach near the Wickaninnish Inn, if you know the area.

Some very nice shots! Vancam.ca has a weather cam overlooking the Long Beach area. I assume yours must be of that same area? I would like to spend some time at that lodge...

Thanks Geodude! Yes, Chesterman is the next beach north of Long Beach. Several lodges in that area are very nice (checked them all out): the Wickaninnish, Long Beach Lodge, and the Middle Beach Lodge.

Beautiful shots, Jer. And at the right time of year. If you go to this area in the summer, it is often blanketed in fog. And the throng of tourists takes away from the majesty of the surroundings. - Jack

Thanks Jack! And I agree... we were here in the summer of 2010 and loved it, but wanted to see what it was really like, in the off season. We'll be back.
