Thank you, I must admit to leaving the thirds overlay grid on the K1 viewfinder most of the time.

You'll have to come to Texas - there are some chainsaws left over from the massacre.

Seriously, this is a wonderfully composed photo - you da man.

That won’t do... one doesn’t want old blood all over the trees.

Thanks for your very kind words.

Were these originally planted on purpose - spacing is too uniform for me to believe "accident" - but you did a good job of spotting them and taking the photo.

That's a painful image, I've set my chainsaw down in the bush before and had to spend valuable time looking for it. They aren't as easy to find as you might think.

I've also had many trees I wished I could remove because they were blocking great image.

Painter just leave it out, but if I clone it out, it's cheating. How photogrpahy got this ball and chain around it's neck, I have no idea. I guess the thing photography did was free sketch artists. They used to try and sketch events and people. There were probably the same arguments about sketching accuracy as there is about photo accuracy. And the word sketchy" is now part of the language. If the scene is really worth it, I will clone without apology.

In this case, my opinion is that the trees are part of the great image. Without them, the view is all background.

When the trees are out of focus blobs in front of a sunset or vista, that's not the case.
