Buffalo Waterfront
Posted By: madmikess, 09-05-2008, 10:00 AM

Took my 2 youngest for a walk around the Buffalo waterfront today. First the Buffalo Naval and Servicemen's Park then the Erie Basin Marina. Here are a few pictures, lens used is my favorite Sigma 24-135mm:

You can see more here, including a series of wooden statues cut from trees that fell during the October storm of 2006.

Thank you for looking.

Good colors. Looks like you've got some dust spots on your sensor or lens.

Since you mentioned it, I just noticed the spots on a few of the pictures. Thanks for mentioning it. I'll have to check it out later but it was a rather windy day today and it could have been some dust blow up onto the lens. I only see the dots on a couple pictures out of the ones I put up on my website. I had to blow a little tiny green bug off my camera a couple times during my walk so it could have been anything.

The offending spots have been removed. I took a few shots of clear blank sheets of paper and I didn't find any spots, so they must have just been some dust on the lens when I was taking the pictures. Probably from all the wind today.
