We were sitting on her porch, waiting for some hummingbirds to come around her feeder and this shot just presented itself. I love bright greens and the sunshine set this scene on fire! Oddly enough, purple and green are opposites on the color wheel and actually compliment each other quite well. Who'd a thought? And yes, this lens is great for shooting 1:2 close-ups from 37 inches.
