A pair of mallards on the Royal River, Freeport, Maine, The Drake spent so much time grooming it seemed like the hen was getting tired of his vanity so the second image is titled, I just can't look at you right now. Very low tide so they only had a narrow channel to swim in which made it easier for me.

They were definitely a pair! Even direction changes were just like when the wife says, "turn this thing around, we are lost!"
