June Mountain

These are a few shots from a ski trip to June Mountain, in the Eastern Sierras. We had some huge snowfalls while we stayed here and after we left the rains were so heavy that we couldn't make it home - roads were closed. So we had to overnight in a hotel about 30 miles from our home.

What a beautiful place, beautifully photographed.

We were spared most of Harvey's wrath here in Lake Jackson. However, I do remember being almost trapped in our marina in Kemah during Allison. The trip back to LJ, which normally takes about an hour, took almost three.

Thanks Jer. I do remember some pretty extreme weather conditions in SE Texas (including a flood turning our street into a river).... not that we don't have them out here!
