Aye the bud on the far left is razor sharp, but even at F8.0 the dof is still so super thin at this distance, the second bud didn't get into the sharpish zone.

There appears to be a current trend toward a softer focus, rather than razor sharp. At any rate, a truly lovely photograph. Thanks.

Thought about this one for a wee while and have come to the conclusion, this is a rumour/trend put about by folk who can't achieve sharp focus...
