Thank you, perhaps the "Good Lady” (Pentax-A 20mm F2.8) was a strange choice for a portrait, but I only had limited space to work within.

A fine lady, a fine car and an equally fine photo.

It's interesting too for an American, since since Toyota doesn't export that vehicle to the U.S.

They don't export interesting vehicles here either...

I must admit I cannot identify the maker of such a fine looking automobile. With the lowered windshield, it reminds me of a Duesenberg. Wonderful photography, KD and thanks a million for sharing.

She's an Alvis 12/70, with Mulliners drop head body, produced from 1937 to 1940, this example is believed to be one of eight remaining in existence.

Do you have issues focusing these manual lenses??

Many here mourn the loss of split-prism and other manual focusing aids.

No why?... I grew up focusing manual lenses, primarily as autofocus had yet to be invented.

Also in this case the "Good Lady” (Pentax-A 20mm F2.8) has a depth of field beyond belief.

I haven't kept a tally of characteristics of your photos ... this one is f/8 - so you routinely work with what I call a "comfortable DOF"??

I guess on K20Ds I did use Katzeye screens all the time, but with the bigger brighter K1 screens (like my old LX screens), I found it's not required.

Only in the sense that F5.6 to F8.0 tends to the sweet spot for most of my "Ladies" if I'm looking to maximise their performance.

That said, I often go to the other extreme and shoot a lot "wide open" with my fast "Ladies", it would be an absolute waste of a decent lens not to.
