d'Arenberg Cube
Lens: DA 18-135mm Camera: K3 Photo Location: McClaren Vale ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F11

The d'Arenberg Cube at McLaren Vale in South Australia. Commissioned by the eccentric Chester Osborn, d'Arenberg's chief winemaker, it's not something you'd normally expect to find in a vineyard. The building houses a wine tasting facility, museum, audio/visual display and art installations. They make a very good drop if you ever come across it.

An outstanding creation. This must have taken years to finalize. Nice photography.

Thanks Tony. The project was conceived in 2003. It opened in December 2017 and cost $15m (AUS).

I've had lunch at D'Arry's Verandah twice in recent months. The Cube is fascinating. The mens' toilets are worth a visit, if somewhat confronting
