Spanning the Bridge
Posted By: JMR, 09-06-2008, 07:50 PM

Two shots from tonight. I did not get to the bridge in time to photograph the late sunlight, but I did get these achitecture like shots. I confess I did use a magenta filter for the first shot which I kept on the lens for florescent lighting.

I really like the second shot, the composition is more pleasing to me. I'd love to see this in a wider view. What a great looking bridge.

I agree with LaRee, #2 is the better one; I like the unusual angle.

JMR, the first one is terrific, in my view. I like the fact the bridge is not symmetrically placed in the shot and the moon is off to the left - a healthy imbalance.

The second shot is more dynamic, but I like the color and mood of the first. Notice without the moon, the first shot loses its charm.
