Excellent image capturing the old ( bridge ) and the new ( bicycles ) Janse. Looking forward to seeing more of your trip.

It is a commonplace that Amsterdam, known as the Venice of the North, and the Dutch have at least one bicycle each of them.

Reviewing this channel reminds me of an 80's thriller film "Amsterdamned" of Dick Maas, which is staged in these canals.

A nice shot, as usual, Janse. But I couldn't help noticing the guy inhaling at lower right (my assumption, as this is Amsterdam). I thought the title could be "Bridge, bicycles and ...." but I could not find a word for the presumed substance that began with "B".

Perhaps, you should remember B as Beatrice or Benzodiazepine, I think that even in Pentax they make extensive use of it in this period.
