Ruby Throated Hummingbird in my Cherry Tree
Lens: Sigma APO 120-200 F4.5-5.6 DG HSM OS Camera: KP Photo Location: Liberty, Maine ISO: 1250 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F8
Posted By: SSGGeezer, 05-10-2018, 07:42 AM

Walked onto my porch and saw a hummingbird darting around so I snatched up my KP which had my Sigma already mounted and tried to get some keepers. When the field of view is narrow, you need to know your target area well so you can aim properly because a little bird moves fairly quickly.

Neat to see hummers in their natural environment!

A great series, Tom. Thanks for sharing them with us. Some of my neighbors seem to attract several hummers, but none for me so far. It might help if I were to put up a feeder, eh?
